I was lucky enough to open up the ‘IA Theory and Practice’ stream of the IA Summit this year with a presentation on an enterprise taxonomy project I did for FIFA recently in Zurich.
This was my third time speaking at the conference, and as always I came away inspired and with more and more respect for the community around the conference. One of the keynote speakers noted that ours was the only conference she had seen that had a code of ethics. The IA Summit regularly has events that set it apart from other conferences, including dinners for first-timers, peer review with actual feedback on submissions, karaoke and this year even an LGBT luncheon.
As usual topics ranged from linked data to story mapping to the universe and everything in and outside of it. It was a pleasure talking about my project and I have much gratitude for the work of the volunteers and sponsors that made it happen, including ASIS&T.
Below are slides from my presentation – all 71 of them!
Thanks & enjoy,
Adam
